Unused footage

Refers too question 3 and 4

Here is a selection of footage from the clips that we couldn't use in our trailer. Half of the reason for this was that the camera was upside down on two of the scenes, and this was not able to be turned round the right way. It therefore looked unprofessional and did not match the conventions of a trailer so it could not be used. This could have been solved by usage of a tripod

Also some of the scenes were Gary the gay character was supposed to be crying received feedback like "It's not realistic enough" and "It doesn't fit with the rest of the trailer", so they had to be edited out of the trailer.

In the first clip, the girls were walking into a cafe and it was supposed to be used as an establishing shot. Due to the poor quality of footage however most of the cafe scene was cut out and this meant this establishing shot was not relevant. Also the fast paced edit of my trailer meant there was little room for establishing shots. Also due to a name change the shot of the elm bank sign was unnecessary and therefore could not be used.

Finally due to the majority of my group not having any acting experience there was a lot of outtakes in the footage. The hardest scene to shoot was the one where Gary came out to his brother, and they was a lot of wasted camera footage. It would have been easier to shoot over the shot clips so that it could have been broken up into smaller lines.
