From the eastenders research, it was clear that just from the opening drums and picture that the audience would know what soap it was. This was because it had a clear brand identity. This was something I tried to establish with my soap through my product and ancillaries, so that it it could be easily recognisable and easily related to by an audience. However as my target audience was different (16-24) the branding had to be completely different to eastenders.
